I am Murali Krishna, planning to go Leh – Ladakh on Bike. I want to take your suggestions to go there. Can you please help me on below points:1. I planned this trip as single (without friends too), is this OK? If it is Ok then how can I plan for bike rental and accommodation? Is pure veg food available there?2. I have gone through a couple of package options from websites but not sure from where to start?3. If I get a bike for rental, how can I manage petrol? any additional cans will be provided by them to carry extra petrol?4. For money, will they (in all places) accept card or we have to go with hard cash.Thank you.

1. There are many people who plan solo ride every year to Ladakh, you will find the company on the road and can tag along with people

2. You do not need any package, this website has everything you need to plan a successful trip to Ladakh, provided you can read the stuff we point to

3. They can rent jerry cans to carry fuel

4. Some will accept card, some will need cash. Better go with cash

Have you done any such bike ride before?

Well, in that case you should plan a trip to reach Leh first. Once in Leh, rent bike for local Leh first, if comfortable plan two day trip to Nubra Valley, if comfortable plan a two day trip to Pangong Tso and Tso Moriri else do them by shared taxi. This will be more aligned to your comfort and help you understand your limit instead of cancelling the whole tour in case you are unable to keep up the full tour rented bike.
