If I want to book car from zoomcar or mylescar I need to register. But duering registration proces I must enter 10 digits mobile phone number . But I’m from Slovakia-EU, and have not Indian mobile number. System do not accept foreign tel. numbers. It is also inpossible to contact customer support, because I’m not registered…Do not want these rentals ren a car to foreigners? If not, why? How can I rent a car for Ladakh in August 2018 for 10 days?

Well, I have seen many people/foreginers renting the self drive cars and traveling to the places in the Himalayas. So, they do rent the car. Now, I believe that verification process is what may not be possible from abroad. So, you can come to India, get a pre-paid number and then book when you are here. Most of the car rentals have cars available a day or two in advance as well. So, nothing will benefit from a long term booking.

Also, please keep in mind that outside Ladakh rented cars, you can only use to go to Leh and come back from Leh. Within Leh – Ladakh for sightseeing, you need to get a local taxi as outside rented taxis and self drive cars are not allowed for sightseeing within Ladakh
