Return / Exchange Policy

Since DoW Store is a non-profit store for Travelers and by Travelers, we want to make sure that you as travelers are getting these niche products at right prices available around and feasible for us for making it available for you. We understand that there could be situations where you might want to return your purchased item and we would be happy to facilitate the same as explained in the policy below. However, we request you to be patient and support this non-profit initiative for Traveling Community especially in terms of helping the lives of Himalayan People…

You bought an item from our DoW Store but it was not what you wanted. Can you give it back?

Yes, you can send the purchased item back to us. But we do have some limitations for accepting back sold goods. The date of delivery and the date of return should not be more than 10 days apart. Once we receive the returned product at our office, you will receive a credit coupon for the same amount from DoW Store in 7 working days. You can use this credit note to purchase any product on DoW Store.

We request that you please make sure that the returned item(s) is/are in an unused state along with all the product tags and labels intact.

Delay in shipment. It took more than 20 days for the product to reach you and now you want to return the product.

Well, like mentioned in the About Us page that DoW Store is just a non-profit effort from DoW Community to help travelers/tourists buy right products for them at right prices. It is just a channel to provide the availability of such products to you. So, please bear with us in case there are any delays.

However, if there is a delay of more than 20 Days and we did not notify you over email about such delay, in that case we would be more than happy to get back the product from you provided the returned item(s) is/are in an unused state along with all the product tags and labels intact.

You have opened the seal or tag or label. Can you return that item/product back?

We will try to request product manufacturer in such a case but all depends on the decision of product manufacturer if they are ready to take back the item (s) or product (s) with broken seal or tag or label.

However, please note that there is no guarantee on the number of days the whole process may take. It could be 20 days or even more. So, please bear with us. Be assured that we will keep you posted on the progress as soon as there is an update.

What do you do in case you have received a broken or damaged item?

The broken/damaged item will be taken back and will be replaced with a new item/product. But, we suggest that as soon as you recieve the order and you see any damage, you should refuse to accept it in first place. The security tape should be visible and intact when you receive the order. However, if the packaging was fine and still you found the broken/damaged product inside please don’t worry as we will replace it with new item/product. Please send an email to admin@devilonwheels.com with a picture of the broken/damaged item or product as soon as possible.

However, please note that there is no guarantee on the number of days it will take for replacement as we first need to return it to product manufacturer and ask for replacement. Once we will receive the replaced product from product manufacturer then we will immediately ship it back to you. The whole process may take around 20 days or even more. So, please bear with us. Be assured that we will keep you posted on the progress as soon as there is any update.

In case of return, who will bear the postal charges for the items/products returned?

If the items/products are returned because of any damage on them or wrong product being shipped as compared to what was ordered then DoW Store will replace the product and bear the cost of return shipment too. However, if the goods are returned because of your own personal choice or change requests – e.g. if you want to exchange because of color you ordered does not appeal and now you want different colored item/product – DoW Store would still exchange the item, but the return shipment cost would be borne by you.
