Hi,
I’ll be going to Joshimath around the end of 2017 for a winter trek. After the trek, I have 2 free days. Where can I travel around Joshimath in this weather? (Since I won’t have a personal vehicle, I’m planning to travel by local taxi etc.) What places will be open? Will there be any permits required? Thanks!

From Joshimath, you can come down and spend couple of days in Khirsu. OR you can go over to Malari village and spend time around it if the roads are open. Of course Auli will be there too but you would have covered it I assume by then.
