We are also looking for a good driver, as a good driver is very important for this type of long trip. We have a very bad experience with driver in the hill in past.  We have gone through details of your trip with Mr Rigzin in 2012. We are family of three. We have spoken to him. What is your suggestion about him , you think he will be good for us. Please give your valuable suggestions.
Thanking you

Thank you Dr Shammi and sorry for delay in reply.
There is a direct route from Nubra to Pangong Tso but no route exist from Alchi. You have to come back to Leh to travel to Nubra or Pangong Tso from Alchi. Even Nubra to Pangong Tso is mostly closed for this season and may not be open when you are planning as well.
I will suggest you the following plan
: Provisional plan
Sep 22, 23 leh night
24 leh to Nubra Valley, cover hunder, deskit
25 Day trip to Turtuk
26 Back to Leh from Nubra Valley
27 Leh – Hemis – PAngong Tso
28 Pangong Tso – Thicksey – Shey – Leh – Alchi
29 Alchi – Lamayuru – Alchi – Leh
30 Leh – Tso Moriri
1st Tso Moriri – Leh
2nd leh night
3rd early morning back to airport.

You have already travelled with Rigzin, he is the best 🙂
Regards
Dheeraj

Thanks for your reply.
We wish to stay overnight at Turtuk as we have heard it is an place. What is your opinion. Is there any problem of staying there.
Is it possible to go directly from Pangong to Tso Mori then to Leh back. We have heard that Pangonk tso Mori route is very scenic.
Kindly advise.
Regards
