Hi Dheeraj,
I am planning a solo trip to Leh and Spiti for 17 days.
I wish to complete Leh extensively whereas breeze through Spiti. Below is the itinerary that I have planned. I need your help in confirming if this itinerary is doable and also if you could suggest the places to cover when travelling to these locations. Do keep in mind that most of my travel would be using local transport(buses and shared jeeps). It would also be really helpful if you could guide me if the locations that I have listed as overnight stay has accommodation options. I know that I am asking for too much considering that you have a full time job, but I am really looking forward to your guidance.

Hi Pranav,

I will recommend following being solo traveler relying on shared transport:

Day 1: Leh acclimatize
Day 2: Leh acclimatize and find shared taxis
Day 3, 4, 5: Spending Nubra Valley exploring whatever possible with shared jeeps. Prefer Hunder, Deskit and Turtuk
Day 6,7: Two day trip to Pangong Tso
Day 8,9: Two day trip to Tso Moriri, Manali – Leh and get down at Keylong
Day 10: Keylong to Kaza
Day 11: Spend day exploring in Kaza
Day 12: Kaza – Tabo covering Dhangkar
Day 13: Tabo – Nako – Kalpa
Day 14: Kalpa – Sangla
Day 15: Sangla – Shimla/Narkanda/Sarahan
Day 16: Shimla/Narkanda/Sarahan – Chandigarh
