Hi Dheeraj,

Thanks a lot for your suggestion.

Could you please guide me through the following:
1. Hunder to Pangong which route should be taken through Warila Pass or short route through Shyok ?
As both these route are isolated and I am not aware of the current scenario os short route via Shyok.
Read somewhere that Shyok route is now better.

2. While travelling Pangong to Hanle via Chushul, I have read in one of you post that we may not be allowed after Chushul Post or Tsaga La Post even though we have permits.
How can I make sure that i’ll be allowed to pass through them.

3. Which route to be taken from Hanle to Tso Moriri.
Hanle – Loma – Nyoma – Mahe – Sumdo – Korzok
Or
Hanle – Sarsala Pass – Charchagnla Pass -Korzok

We are 6 people travelling on bikes rented from Leh during last week of June.
Once again thank you for your advice and help.

Regards,
Mohit

1. Try to take Shyok route but in case it is closed, then take longer Wari La route.

2. You cannot make sure, that is the nature of situation up there. Mostly it is fine nowadays.

3. Hanle – Loma – Nyoma – Mahe – Sumdo – Korzok

Make sure to carry spare fuel for the bikes.
