Postby Pushpak24 » Sat May 20, 2017 1:25 am

Hello,

Me and group of 10 people are planning to visit LEH in July.
Are zoomcar and bikes booked from chandigarh accessible to Leh, Nubra valley, pangong lake and Zanskar valley ?

Thanks!

Pushpak, self driven rental cars or bikes have no issue to cover zanskar valley but once you reach leh either by Srinagar leh highway or Manali leh highway, you will need to hire local taxis to visit nubra, pangong and tso moriri etc.
Travel is never a matter of money, only spirit

So to cover nubra and pangong we need to hire the local tempo traveller from leh ?
And I also read that we need to pay half of the amount of our vehicles, if we keep them in leh ? Is it true ?

Yes, you need to hire local taxis in such a case. Also, half payment is applicable for bikes only and in case you have negotiated that deal upfront.
