road condition delhi to binsar

Postby amtesh » Wed Jul 01, 2015 12:53 pm

hi, just had a trip to binsar , followed two diffrent route
1) gurgaon-gajrula(152)-kashipur cut to left after muradbad(210)-board marking nanintal(220)-took rt turn from there-,sharpleft turn(225), this road is parralel to road going to kashi pur via thakurdwara. 1 km of bad patch which was there earlier is now repaired- ramnagar(286)-binsar-(470)
road till ramanagar is in great shape. from ramnagar to bisar road is narrow. if u r driving in rain ,then u need to be very careful. especially in jimcorbett section.there is loose soil on either side of road in corbett and if ur car moves litttle bit beyond road it could got struk in mud. this happened with me. few guys coming from faridabad helped me .

2)dhaulchina-almora(35)-khairana(67)-bhowali(87)-nainital(97)

3( nainital - delhi via haldwani (310)

I will request modes to shift this post to the relevant section. Amtesh bhai thanks for the updates. On both these routes, ramnagar to mohaan and ramnagar to kaladhungi, this is the usual scene in July and August. The water coming on road is called dhaap in this sector. Even the buses plying on this route get stuck in slush.

Once in august 2005, on ramnagar-kaladhungi, we got our wagon r, got pulled with a tractor on one such dhaap or water crossing. Tractor waala was a local villager and was charging 50 bucks per car for this. All the small cars were taking his help. The water was knee deep high. We saw a truck lying there which was overturned by water flow last night.

Again in July 2007, on ramnagar mohaan route, we stopped in one such water crossing, washed our car for an hour, took bath too as water flow was not too fast... [emoji1]

Hi My 1st post. Myself Bodhisattwa Dasgupta from New Delhi.

kashipur cut to left after muradbad(210)-board marking nanintal(220)-took rt turn from there-,sharpleft turn(225), this road is parralel to road going to kashi pur via thakurdwara. 1 km of bad patch which was there earlier is now repaired- ramnagar(286)-binsar-(470)

This road which is parallel to Kashipur via Thakurdwara after taking sharp left is in terrible condition. Almost 15-20 kms stretch, there is almost no road.

Will take the road via Thakurdwara on return, shall update condition of that too.
