Please suggest advice for the following:-
30/9- Delhi to Haridwar by car
01/10- Haridwar to Badrinath
02/10- Darshan puja
03/10- Early morning Mana village and
Basudhara . In the afternoon
start for Joshimath.
04/10- By cable car visit Auli from
Joshimath
05/10- Start from Joshimath to Haridwar
06/10- Sightseeing in Haridwar
07/10- At 7 O'clock start Saharanpur to catch the train at 11:35 am for Kolkata

Is it possible? I need some suggestion on this or any change is necessery?
We are 8 people
What type of vehicle shall I prefer?
Shall I opt for public transport?
Any name of reliable driver with contact details if available along with average cost of vehicle per day.
This time span is during Durga puja. Shall I have to book rooms in advance?
(Dussera is on 30th of Sept)
We are family people.
We are starting from Kolkata on 29 by Poorva express.

The plan looks fine to me. Small vehicle should be fine. For driver please check: http://devilonwheels.com/india/himalayan-travel-guides/list-taxi-drivers-for-uttarakhand-kumaon-gharwal-t5750.html

In addition to what Dheeraj bhai has mentioned, my suggestions are-

1. Do stay at rishikesh on day 1 instead of haridwar.
2. I will suggest to hire a 10 or 12 seater tempo traveler for this trip.
3. I do not think that there is a need for advance booking of the rooms.

Now comes to the changed suggested plan-

30th- Delhi to rishikesh.
1st- Leave around 6 am, head to chopta, it should be about 8 to 10 hours drive.
2nd- Chopta to badrinath, about 8 hours drive.
3rd- Badrinath temple, visit mana village. Remember vasudhara falls is 6 km hike from mana village which may not be comfortable with the family so it would be better to skip it. Night stay at badrinath.
4th- Leave around 12 noon and head to joshimath, 2 hours drive.
5th- Day visit to auli, return to joshimath.
6th- Joshimath to rishikesh and night stay.
7th- Start around 6 am and head to saharnpur to catch the return train.

Another choice may be-

30th - Delhi to rishikesh.
1st- Rishikesh to badrinath, you will need to leave around 5 am as it will be long drive to cover the distance of 300 km.
2nd- badrinath.
3rd- Badrinath to joshimath. (40 km).
4th- Joshimath to auli (16 km) return to joshimath for night stay.
5th- Joshimath to rishikesh. (260 km).
6th- Rishikesh to haridwar (25 km).
7th- Haridwar to saharanpur (70 km).

Hope it helps.... :)
