Freeze - e - Ladakh

Postby drvictor19 » Sun Jul 05, 2015 3:03 pm

Freeze/ frozen is the most common word we hear.. when we talk about Winter Ladakh.

Yes Ladakh freezes in winters … temp. dips to -40deg.C… and this is the reason we avoid going there in this season.
But on the other hand we say Ladakh is a heaven….. so should weather be the criteria to visit Heaven.?

Friends this is my first travelogue in this wonderful community which is working with a vision in mind. I hope You’ll like it and ignore my grammatical mistakes. :) :)
I dedicate this travelogue to all people who make our stay, travelling comfortable even in minus temperatures during winters in Ladakh.

Ladakh in winters was always a dream for me and this January (22nd Jan – 29th Jan 2015), the dream was fulfilled and what we saw was……………………………….!!

Before going there .. I thought of clicking lot of pics of frozen Pangong.... but when I reached there the weather and wind made it impossible to stand there for more than 15 min.
