Hi...

Thanks for your very valuable and detailed descriptions...but I am still confused reading all your write-ups whether visiting that place is suitable during 1st to 14th of October....also if possible please give me the details of Leh-Manali Route from Ladakh which is a better option to avail.....

In the article: Best Time to Travel Ladakh & Zanskar Valley if you read the section "Mid-September to Mid-October" it says that if you are OK with little cold and intermittent closure of roads, it is OK time to travel especially in October half whereas September second half is one of my favorite time to travel due to vivid colors and less risks as outlined in the article: 5 Reasons to Avoid Manali – Leh Highway in October

Also, do read the conclusion part of both articles as well, especially the first one. Finally, in case you are still in doubt, please let me know again. I will try to explain in more detail.

Hi Dheeraj,

Can you please also link the list of Taxi drivers in the first post? That would make this guide more robust.

Kgm, welcome to DoW Community !!

Agents list is already there in the main post. Thanks for posting the other two links too. But, out of 100s of hotels better to search for reviews in our community Hotels, Guest Houses & Home Stays in Himalayas -> Ladakh & Zanskar Valley forums to be sure of what you are going to check-in :)
