@sany Bhai Take a bow. Respect.

It is exactly that one would need. It resolves all my queries, esp the Trek Highlights. :) The wait was really worth it :D

For me if it happens, it would be either Har Ki Dun with Janundhar Glacier or Kuari Pass (majorly because of the Trek Highlights, it makes me really greedy. Chaukhamba, kamet, Trishul, Haathi parbat, Nanda Devi, Neel kanth. All of them together 8-) )

Sany Bhai, Baraadsar is missing in this. I have also researched a lot all this while. What about Nandikund??

Also one more query, is Panchachuli Base Camp really possible? I mean, is reaching Dharchula in Winters possible?? Also I know one major trek highlight of it , which is of course Panchachuli 8-) . Do we get to see Mt. Nanda Devi also from there??

@dheerajsharma14 Thanks for putting it up :)

Hmm... I think evn these treks Sany, are they all open. Like Chandrashilla is not possible in January to Feb end at least if not March. I was there in 10-15 March but Chandrashilla was not possible during that time

Bhai what about mid of January and mid of February? I am saying that let's try to point out timings where they are completely closed too. I remember you guys went to Tungnath in Feb but then again could not go beyond or at least a normal easy to moderate trekker cannot go that is for sure.

On the other hand if I compare with Prashar, the trek is safe to travel till the end as the snow trek becomes on road. People even do not recommend Triund too in February but some still do that is about taking the risk.

May be we can quote which are safe and which time window they cannot be done or extremely dangerous. I remember the Canandian we met on Tunganath in mid March, he came back running though earlier went to attempt Chandrashilla. He told it was very very dangerous and even the local guide backed out. His girl friend came back from first scary point itself.

There might be experts who be doing it but let's not mis guide novices and let's try to get some info. on when such treks are safe in winters else let's just list down them as treks only without quoting winters and say in winters some of them may not be possible. But, in that case it defeats the purpose by which we started this thread.
