HPTDC The Mamleshwar, Chindi

Postby dheerajsharma14 » Sun Dec 08, 2013 10:08 am

Well, on my recent trip to Chindi, Himachal Pradesh I stayed at HPTDC hotel The Mamleshwar, Chindi. The hotel is midst woods itself and apple orchards just around it. The views in front though are hampered a it with big tree but a little walk down the lane, you get to see lovely shades of sunset and sunrises. The place is so tranquil, calm and peaceful that you will love it if you are with your loved ones :) :)

The staff is quite nice and courteous too. They helped us in all aspects considering the needs of small child with us. There is ample of space in front to sit, relax in sun or for small kids to run around.

Contact Information: Refer Chindi at HPTDC Official Website

Charges: Charges ranges from 1100 to 2600 depending on the room you book. You can check the availability and book them online through the official website of HPTDC linked here. We got 30% off season discounts too as we went in winters there.

Facilities: We choose the Rs 1100 Double Bed Room Semi Deluxe which costed around 770 after discounts. There is a TV with DTH Connection in all rooms. All rooms have attached bathroom with western toilets and water heating geysers. The room are quite spacious, warm and cozy. The overall comfort in the room was quite good too. Windows are big in size with good outside view too.

Food: The quality of food served as standard/average as it used to be in HPTDC Hotels though very much edible :) ... So, you will have to control your taste buds to some extent there and be used to standard food.

Overall Experience: We loved the stay overall there as the calmness and peaceful walks around the hotel are overall the USP of the place along with apple orchards which unfortunately were not there because their season is in July - August.

These are some pictures from the home stay

Nice pictures. HPTDCs are always showered with prime real estate and this one seems to be following suit. Should visit it soon. Thanks for the exhaustive review :)

Seriously, it is one fine property I must say at Chindi. If you can get PWD Rest House Booking just near this one, nothing like it in terms of views then because here you can see the trees have blocked the sunrise view and to get clear views you need to get down to road below which only PWD Rest House is located.
